Project Overview
BT Scaffolding was contracted by SHCL Construction to provide a complete scaffolding solution for a large-scale residential new build in Chapelizod, Dublin. The end user for this impressive property is an architectural office, meaning precision, presentation, and finish were key factors throughout the project.
The property itself was a significant single dwelling, requiring over 760 square metres of scaffolding to provide full access for construction and finishing works. Due to restricted access on site, all materials had to be handballed around the property, making the project both physically demanding and logistically complex. Despite these challenges, our team maintained exceptional efficiency and attention to detail at every stage.
Execution
Our experienced crew erected the entire scaffold structure within just five days, a remarkable turnaround given the site restrictions and project scale. The system was designed to provide safe and secure access for every stage of the build, from blockwork and roofing to façade detailing and glazing.
Every scaffold section was planned to optimise both safety and usability for the various trades working on-site. Regular inspections were carried out to maintain stability and ensure compliance with all Irish and EU scaffolding standards.
